Fans spin, but I cannot get past the CPU diagnostic light at all. After starting, the front panel buttons no longer work (power, reset), and I have to turn off the PSU to shut it down. No matter what, as long as the CPU is inserted and power is on, the CPU diagnostic light is on.

I’m about to return both board and CPU when I managed to use the Q-Flash feature on my motherboard and update to the latest bios. if things jump about to much put them in order of average. You will then have a list of process that are currently using the cpu put them in order of CPU and check to see if anything is hammering your cpu at the time. Now ctrl + alt + delete and go to task manager, then go to perfomance tab and click resource monitor. That should make your pc run abit smoother hopefully. untick automatically manage paging file size at the top, click custom size and in the top box put 3000 and in the second box put 3500 click set. then on the left hand side of the window that pops up go to advanced system settings, then under the advanced tab click settings on the perfomance section. Go to startup tab untick everything except for your antivirus and anything leading to c:\windows in the command list.Ĭlick the windows button again, right click computer, properties. Hit the windows button in bottom left and is search bar type msconfig and hit enter
